Jakarta - In a significant move to enhance governance, Indonesia's Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) is launching a two-pronged initiative focused on infrastructure and innovation. Minister Rini Widyantini is slated to simultaneously inaugurate nine new Public Service Malls (MPP) and confer awards to the winners of the 2025 Outstanding Public Service Innovations (OPSI).
The inauguration event will formally integrate nine new regions into the national network of one-stop public service shops. This expansion directly addresses the goal of bringing closer, faster, and more affordable integrated services to people in diverse localities, from Sumatra to Kalimantan and Papua.
The newly added MPPs are situated in Kabupaten Aceh Barat, Batu Bara, Bintan, Batang Hari, Way Kanan, Cianjur, Balangan, Malinau, and Buol. Their activation raises the total count of operational MPPs across Indonesia to 305, creating a denser and more accessible web of government service points.

Parallel to this physical expansion is the recognition of excellence in service innovation through the OPSI awards. These awards crown the annual KIPP (Kompetisi Inovasi Pelayanan Publik) process, designed to map, measure, and motivate continuous improvement in how public services are designed and delivered.
According to Otok Kuswandaru, Deputy Minister for Public Services at PANRB, these concurrent events are a deliberate pairing. He frames them as a unified momentum, demonstrating how concrete service hubs and cutting-edge innovative practices jointly drive the transformation of Indonesia's public service ecosystem.
The OPSI 2025 awards will be given to 28 selected innovations that have shown measurable, real-world impact. The competition, which began its annual cycle in March, rigorously assesses entries to find models that not only solve local problems but also support broader national development agendas.
Kuswandaru pointed out that the winning innovations share a common thread of leveraging technology to meet contemporary demands. This focus ensures services are not only efficient and transparent but also resilient and adaptable to future challenges, setting a benchmark for others to follow.
This combined ceremony, symbolizing the link between infrastructure and ideas, will be accessible nationwide via a live stream on the Ministry of PANRB's official YouTube channel at 09:00 WIB, allowing citizens and civil servants alike to witness this step in bureaucratic reform.
