KJNI Officially Formed, Invites Kudus Community To Live Healthily By Actively Walking

A healthy lifestyle has again received a breath of fresh air in Kudus Regency. The Indonesian Nordic Walking Community (KJNI) was officially formed at Muria Kudus University and was inaugurated directly by the Regent of Kudus, Sam'ani Intakoris. 

KJNI was inaugurated at a KJNI Inauguration event at Muria Kudus University (UMK), Saturday, June 21, 2025. The inauguration event was also attended by representatives from KJNI Central Java, KJNI Solo and KJNI Demak. 

In his remarks, the Regent of Kudus, Sam'ani Intakoris expressed his hope that KJNI would not only be a sports community, but would also be able to make a positive contribution to society. 

"Hopefully this community can provide education and socialize to the community that this sport can also support our health, especially for seniors," said the Regent. 

He also hopes that KJNI can encourage the people of Kudus to live healthier by walking as part of their daily activities. 

Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Muria Kudus University, Prof. Darsono, on the same occasion, also welcomed the formation of this community.
