Shopping With Paperbags Is An Eco-Friendly Lifestyle

The trend of using paper bags as an alternative to plastic bags is increasingly favored by urban communities who care about the environment.  

“Paperbags are not only more environmentally friendly, but also a symbol of a sustainable lifestyle that is now widely adopted by various groups, especially in big cities,” Rindu told rri.co.id by telephone at the Pro Persada RRI Prosatu Sungailiat event.  

“Paper bags have several advantages over plastic bags, they are more environmentally friendly because they are made from biodegradable and recyclable materials,” said another listener Zulfaizar in Sengir.  

But according to Zulfaizar, the use of paper bags also has challenges, such as lower resistance to water than plastic.
